As all island trucking companies and other such trucking companies are likely well aware of, there are many ways in which the transportation industry – particularly the industry of trucking in and of itself – plays a key and critical role in the way that we live our lives today. This is true for the country of Canada and for the rest of the world as a whole as well, proving that trucking is only likely to keep growing in the years that are to come, from island trucking companies and beyond.

And the trucking industry is an incredibly prosperous one, something that we can see when looking at the data surrounding the trucking industry of Canada. In Canada, there are many different trucking companies, from island trucking companies to Vancouver island trucking companies – and beyond. In addition to this, there are more general transportation companies as well, as trucking is not the only way to transport goods from one part of the country to the next. In total, this industry is one that is worth at least $65 billion at the current date – a number that is only expected to rise in the years that are to come.

And this has been hugely important for job creation as well. From hiring truck drivers to hiring people and professionals to manage warehousing and distribution services, jobs are quite plentiful when it comes to the field and industry of transportation – at least in the country of Canada. In fact, nearly half of a million people (around 400,000 of them, to be more exact) are employed in some aspect of this industry, with more than 200,000 of them employed as truck drivers and truck drivers alone. For many of these people, the industry of transportation provides a direct livelihood, bug these are far from the only people who benefit from island trucking companies and other transportation companies located in the country and beyond.

For many reasons, the world of transportation – particularly that of trucking – is quite hugely essential for matters of trade as well. In fact, this can be seen particularly clearly when we look at the trade relations between the country of Canada and the United States, its neighbor to the south. Between these two countries, trade is quite incredibly vital indeed, and happens in a number of different ways that are supported by the transportation industries of both countries.

In fact, it has even been estimated that up to two thirds of all products that are moved from the country of Canada to the United States are transported via truck, while more than three quarters (more even than 80%) of all trade is moved from the United States to Canada in this same way. Therefore, it is quite clear to see the important impact that trucking and transportation companies like island trucking companies can have on the way that we receive our goods. Such industries and companies can even end up impacting our relationship with other countries, such as that of the United States, quite significantly as well.

And all consumer products and the like are largely transported via truck as well, at least in the country of Canada. In addition to the trade that is done with the United States, trucking within the country also helps to facilitate the transport of up to 90% of all consumer goods and food products. And food products are certainly quite important, delivered to grocery stores and directly to customers and well. No matter what, it is clear that we need trucking services, and this is not just the case here in the country of Canada. In the United States, the overall reliance on trucking is also quite clear.

In the years that are to come, the reliance on trucking and various other aspects of the transportation industry will only grow and grow – both in the country of Canada as well as in a good deal of other places all throughout the world as well.
